I was born and grew up in a little town in the Swiss Alps and I live in Sweden since 1995.
Before leaving my mountain paradise in 1982, I first got an education as carpenter and went on to study classical guitar at the Geneva conservatory of music.
I then spend the next 13 years travelling the World and involving myself in diverse charity projects.
Between 1997-2000 I attended the Violinmaking School in Leksand Sweden. After graduation I first worked one year as an assistant to Sven-Erik Berg , bow maker I Stockholm an a further three years as an apprentice at Roland Wiklunds’ workshop in Stockholm as well.
Since 2004 I work in my own workshop doing repairs and new making.
Through my years in the trade, I developed a special love for barock instruments/bows, spending a great deal of my time studying and making them.
